"Reconstruction of the emergency section of the water supply from the VNS II riser to the switching chamber on the street Rynkova in the city of Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region". The total amount of the project is 10,601,635 thousand UAH., of which UAH 9,530,870,000 are DFRD funds and UAH 1,070,765,000. - from the budget of the Kalush city community. The work project envisages the reconstruction of the emergency section of the water supply from VNS II rise to the switching chamber on the street Rynkova in the city of Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region. According to the design assignment, the construction of this water pipeline is foreseen in two phases. The 1st phase of construction - from the point of insertion No. 2 on the existing water pipeline with a diameter of 600 mm on L. Ukrainka Ave. to the point of connection to the existing water pipeline with a diameter of 1000 mm in the area of Malytska Street (node "A"), 370 m long and the 2nd phase of construction - from this node "A" to the place of cut-in No. 1 in the existing chamber at the exit from the pumping station II of the lift with a length of 610 m. The purpose of the project is to provide high-quality water supply to residential buildings of microdistricts, institutions, enterprises and organizations of the Kalush urban territorial community on a continuous basis. The existing steel water pipe with a diameter of 1000 mm is in an emergency condition. According to the calculation, polyethylene pipes (PE10) with a diameter of 630x37.4 mm are provided for the laying of the water pipeline in the area from the emergency room of the 2nd ascent to the designed well at the place of insertion No. 2 into the existing steel water pipeline with a diameter of 600 mm on the territory of the gas station. Due to the wear and tear of the pipes, there are frequent surges, there are systematic interruptions in the water supply, which negatively affects the quality of water supply services, and can cause the quality of tap water to be inconsistent with the relevant sanitary standards and create a threat of epidemic situations. In addition, due to frequent repair work, the maintenance and service costs of the water supply network increase significantly, which affects the cost of drinking water. During the elimination of emergency situations of the sewage network, the microdistrict remains without water, which negatively affects the sanitary and living conditions of residents and destabilizes the social situation in the city. During 2021, 85% of construction works were completed on the facility, which were financed from the state, regional and urban territorial community budgets of the city of Kalush. For 2022, the financing plan provides funds from the urban territorial community budget for the completion of the works, but due to the introduction of martial law in Ukraine, the State Treasury Service does not make payments for completed works.

It is planned to insert the designed water pipe into the existing steel water pipe with a diameter of 500 mm after the well with the metering unit on the territory of the Emergency Service and in the well behind the bridge over the Sivka River. Fire hydrants are planned to be installed along the water pipeline route in accordance with the requirements.
