The Kalushchyna Regional Museum was founded on December 28, 1997. The museum's exposition is located in the building of the former Jewish community, which is an architectural monument of the early 1930s. In December 1999, two halls were given over to an art gallery, which exhibited works by local artists. After 2005, the format of the gallery was changed to short-term exhibitions.
In 2015, after a major renovation, changes were again made to the exposition, which allowed the gallery space to be reorganized into an ethnography section.
The updated exhibition halls present the history of the region, ethnography, sacred art, and nature.
The basis of the exposition is made up of archaeological monuments of Kalushchyna, ancient documents, church old prints, works of fine art, old photographs, materials on the history of bell-ringing, household items, etc. The museum conducts research and local history work. Publishing and exhibition activities are also underway.
