Сreated by the Kalusa City Council on the basis of decision No. 533 of 10.10.2011, which is subordinate to the Department of Culture, Nationalities and Religions of the Kalusa City Council.
The Museum and Exhibition Center of the Kalusa City Council includes: the Local Lore Museum of Kalusa, the Art Gallery, the Museum-House of the Ivan Franko Family, the Exhibition Hall and the Memorial Museum "Kaluska Prison".
The institution carries out its activities in accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine "On Culture", the Law of Ukraine "On Museums and Museum Work", regulatory acts of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, current legislation and relevant documents of local self-government bodies.
The Museum and Exhibition Center of the Kalusa City Council is a scientific, research and cultural and educational institution designed to study and preserve monuments of material and intangible culture.
It is a tool for communicating with the community about the achievements of regional, national and world historical and cultural heritage, which introduces history and art.
In 2015, a visual style of the institution was created, which was implemented within the framework of the PROMUSEUM project with the support of the Renaissance Foundation, the Ukraine 3000 ICF, and the Ukrainian Center for the Development of Museums.
Working days: Tuesday - Saturday from 08:30 to 17:00
Weekends: Sunday - Monday
Visiting hours: Tuesday - Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00
Archival days in museums: Wednesday.
Search and expedition work: Monday and Thursday.
The last Thursday of each month is a sanitary day.
